Tandridge District Council adopts new Corporate Plan 2024-2028
Tandridge District Council has adopted its new Corporate Plan for 2024-2028, which sets the Council’s strategic direction for the next four years.
The plan sets out a vision for the Tandridge District of protecting the environment, delivering affordable housing, putting residents at the heart of what we do and encouraging economic growth.
The plan identifies six key priorities for the district to achieve the vision:
- Protecting and enhancing our environment.
- Delivering affordable housing for local people.
- Financial prudence and sustainability.
- Putting residents at the heart of what we do.
- A safe, healthy and caring community supporting those most in need.
- A thriving economy.
The plan will inform and direct the Council’s policies and allocate resources.
This plan has been developed following consultation with residents, local businesses, councillors, council staff and other partners, so it reflects the community’s aspirations and needs.
Councillor Catherine Sayer, Leader of the Council, said: "I am delighted we have adopted a new Corporate Plan for 2024-2028. It is one of the most important documents we have, as it sets the strategic direction for the Council and reflects our commitment to preserving the unique character of the Tandridge District, while making sure it remains a vibrant and sustainable place to live, work and visit.
“The plan addresses current and future challenges, against the backdrop of significant financial pressures and increasing demand on services experienced by all councils.
“I look forward to working with officers, councillors, government and the private, voluntary and community sectors to deliver the priorities over the next four years.”
