Our Open Space Strategy sets out how we will manage and improve open spaces across the district until 2025.
We are currently prioritising the projects we can take forward and have been awarded £1 million from the government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
These activities are what we will be focusing on initially.
We will provide further updates once the project progresses.
We want to thank our parish councils, ward councillors and everyone who participated and responded to our survey and consultation on the strategy. This information was really helpful in ensuring the strategy reflected the needs of the district’s residents and visitors and we know how important our open spaces are for residents.
