Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS)

Local Nature Recovery Strategies (LNRS) are a new, England-wide system of spatial strategies that aim to halt and reverse declines in biodiversity and deliver wider environmental benefits.

Surrey County Council (SCC) is responsible for preparing the LNRS for Surrey and are aiming to publish late 2024. Tandridge District Council acts as a supporting authority and will collaborate with SCC on the development of the LNRS. For more information and details on how to get involved please visit Surrey County Council's website.
