In accordance with The Local Authorities (Referendums) (Petitions) (England) Regulations 2011, notice is hereby given that the verification number that is equal to 5% of the number of local government electors for the area of Tandridge District Council as shown in the electoral register having effect on 15 February 2024 is:

This verification number will have effect for the purposes of determining the validity of any petitions which are presented between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025.
The above number will apply to any petition submitted to the Council before 1 April 2024. However, a new number will be published in February 2025 and, if the new number is less than 3239, then the new number will apply from the date it is published.
